If you could offer a child one piece of advice to encourage them to grow up to be their best, what would it be?

Preparation for life starts early as does success. Take a walk down ‘memory lane’ and think back to what things you heard as a child. If there was one piece of advice you wish an adult would have told you back then, what would that be?

At times, as adults, we underestimate what a child needs to hear, and when. However, they are always listening and absorbing information like sponges. The information they are listening to embeds in their mind, so it’s important that they do not hear negativity to avoid internalizing it.

So, what piece of positive advice do you wish you had been told as a child and also feel you were ready to receive? Share with us what you think children need to hear to have more confidence, will make them feel good, and also sets beliefs that are positive and conducive to a foundation of self-love and self-respect.

“I was blessed to grow up in a loving home, but we weren’t encouraged to talk about or demonstrate any negative emotions. I would have loved to have heard, ‘Follow Your Heart,’ ‘You don’t have to know all the answers,’ ‘Adults are not always right,’ ‘We love and support you every step of the way,’ ‘You aren’t expected to do it perfectly and you can’t get it wrong.’

I believe we are all beloved children of the Divine and uniquely perfect. My wish for children or our own inner child is that deep within you is the source of your wisdom, creativity, and desires.  Follow that inner wisdom, follow the joy, follow your heart for it truly does know the way.”

We all have those personal affirmations or rock-solid core beliefs that mean something significant to us.

They keep us going, raise us up, keep us grounded, and give us strength. What one thing do you tell yourself or what is your core belief that inspires you, gives you courage, and/or lifts you up, that you wish to share with someone else?

“What core beliefs keep me going? One simple thing… FAITH!

No matter what my challenges have been throughout my life, Faith keeps me going. Sure, I may struggle at times and my faith may falter, but it is always there, waiting for me. My faith gives me the wisdom to know that things will always turn out and that God has my back no matter what.

Faith is the ability to believe without seeing. You can’t actually ‘see’ Love, yet you know it exists simply because you have felt it.

“The core belief that keeps me going is knowing that ‘The Universe Always has My Back.’ Whenever I doubt myself, start to worry or go down the proverbial ‘rabbit hole,’ I have to stop, take a deep breath, and then remind myself that Universe is always there for me. I just need to make a different choice and allow myself to get out of my own way. No matter how challenging I think things are, when I try to ‘figure it out myself,’ I end up creating more of a mess than if I just let it be and handed it over to the Universe.

I remember a time when I was going through a major bump in the road. I sat in my kitchen with my hands raised to the sky and said, ‘are you even listening to me, I keep asking and I feel as if you are not hearing me.’ The next thing I noticed as I was looking out the kitchen window was something dropping from the sky and landing on the pavement outside the window. I sheepishly went outside. What had fallen from the sky was a Raven’s Wing, fully intact with its feathers. I looked up, there were no trees above where this had dropped. I humbly returned to my kitchen and sat down, and immediately heard the roar of laughter from spirit. Yes, indeed, they were hearing me and validated this in a very dramatic way. I got it, and I thanked them.

My takeaway from this is that even though we cannot see the physical evidence of the universe’s presence at times, it is there, and it has a great sense of humor.”

Fear-based thinking can ruin many great things; relationships, personal and professional goals, health, finances, relationships, and more.

The effect can lead to addictions, mental and emotional issues, and a low-level quality of life. Fears hold us back but how do you overcome a fear? Is it positive thinking? Is it a technique? Do you have a tool? We asked this of our WU World-Changers and got some inspiring answers!

“There’s a lot going on in the world right now that’s causing much fear-based thinking. All of this added to our own personal issues can become overwhelming at times. So how do you shift your thinking to transmute your fears? As fearful thoughts begin to swell up inside, that’s when it’s important to remember you are the creator of your thoughts, your perceptions, your experiences, and your life. Transmuting your fears begins with your intent; your perceptions follow. Setting your intent is paramount. This establishes the energy in which you choose to live each day.

When you master your thoughts, you master your life. Each day before you arise, take a quiet minute to set your intent for the day. An example might be: ‘As I go through my day, I choose to perceive each experience from my higher self, my authentic self. I know I am loved, I am worthy, and I am the master of my life.'”

It takes courage you may think, but once you understand that fear is an emotion that will pass as soon as you face it and stop giving it control over your thoughts, feelings, and actions it goes away.

What really helped me overcome my fears is understanding the definition of fear and its symptoms. This understanding allows me to recognize it but not give it power over my life. As a spiritual person, I understand that when I experience fear I am disconnecting from spirit. Faith causes peace of mind and peace within eliminates Fear altogether.

“Fear is a natural response to a specific stimulus and it’s a part of being Human. The secret to success and happiness is to not let this one emotion rule them all. To be a Master of your life requires managing fear in ways that are emotionally safe, healthy, and empowering for yourself as well as others.

One way to effectively overcome fear is to acknowledge feeling it. Acknowledging you are afraid does not mean giving your power to fear. On the contrary, it’s an act of ‘re-cognition’ that paradoxically helps switch from the fight or flight response to logical thinking. This helps to feel the fear and do it anyway.

To overcome fear, simply stop and take a few deep conscious breaths. This supports the parasympathetic nervous system to calm down, reducing the fear. When the brain is flooded with oxygen it can function more efficiently, so you can literally think with a clearer head.

When fear strikes, don’t shoot the messenger. Ask calibrated questions to get clear about the beliefs and thoughts that fuel any unruly emotions of fear. Then choose to change them and install new positive patterns of behaviour.”

“Personally, I have learned that what I fear is a part of me that needs to be loved, nurtured, and accepted. We have been programmed to run away from, ignore, and or “Stuff” those fears we are experiencing.

Fear is an emotion. With an emotional response, there is a physical or somatic aspect attached to it. Further defined, when you think of something that you are fearful of, there is usually a sensation somewhere in our body. When I think of something I am fearful of, I get a knot in my stomach. Our normal “reaction” is to make it go away ASAP, keep it at bay, and try to control it. What I am sharing here is counter-intuitive to what we have been taught in our culture. The physical sensations one experiences, when faced with fear are opportunities for parts of our self to become reunited, to become whole and complete.

In this case, I would lovingly embrace the “knot in my stomach” and love it unconditionally like a child or my favorite pet no matter how naughty they have been. Appreciate it for being there and getting my attention.

The fear really wants to be loved, supported, and reconnected with us. Once that happens, it usually dissipates, and peace is restored.”

MIRACLES- Milagros

There are only two ways to live your life, One is as though nothing is a Miracle & the other is as though everything is a Miracle :)

     Mr. Einstein was a very wise man. He not only developed the theory of relativity and won the Nobel Prize in Physics but he shared a lot of wonderful insights and quotes with us. The one above is one of my favourites and also what inspired this blog. Miracles are everywhere. Miracles are God's way to show us that He is everywhere and we are never alone!

     I will tell you that It is much easier and rewarding  to Live your life as if everyday is a miracle, because it is. See miracles in nature, in a helpful hand when you least expect it, in a strangers smile or a friends smile, or in children smiles that brighten up your day. See the miracle that is You. The miracle of life. Look at the sky, the clouds, the rain, the animals, the plants, trees, flowers... pay attention and see the miracles that surround you everywhere, everyday. 

     Be grateful you can appreciate these miracles of life. Feel alive and connected to it all. I take nature walks daily. I look for places to walk where there is no traffic, but many trees, bushes and flowers. I allow myself to connect fully with nature and I feel very grateful to be able to enjoy this experience and take it all in. I observe the trees, the different colours on the leaves, I touch them and feel them, that's one way I connect with the earth. When I feel I need to clear my head and get guidance from above I usually get insights in these nature walks; because I allow myself to feel nature around me.

     I love water, the oceans, the lakes and the rivers.. so, I sometimes get the urge to just be by the water and I will get in my vehicle, open all the windows and the sunroof allowing the wind to hit my face and mess up my hair as I drive toward a large body of water and I sit there looking at it, meditating, lost in thought. I just admire nature and I wait to feel and know what is next for me. 

     I love children specially my own child. My son is my pride and joy and I am so thankful to be his mom. I also work with children and I enjoy being in their presence. They teach me, for I allow myself to see the world through their eyes. We all have an inner child, it is so important to live this life through our inner child's eye sometimes. Pay attention, you might learn a thing or two. 

     This is how I experience my daily miracles. I experience happiness within and I allow it to shine through. I learned that balance in life is key. I learned that a smile can change someone's day. I learned that when you give freely the Universe always gives you back. I learned that to believe is to see. I learned to believe in Miracles.

My "Secret" to Being Happy Everyday

     I often get asked this question : " How come you are always happy?" The truth is, it was not until I started investing in myself that I became aware of the fact that I have intellectual faculties that I did not know how to use properly. Shocking? but true. It wasn't until I met my mentor Bob Proctor and heard him talk and teach me about Intellectual Factors we all posses, that I knew what that even meant!

     Do you know you have intellectual faculties? Do you know what they are? Let me tell you. Your intuition, your imagination, your memory, your reason, your perception and your will. We all have them just we do not know how to use them properly to our advantage. 

     It came a day when I decided that enough was enough and I made a decision to get out of my comfort zone and go from living in conformity to living in awareness and abundance. What do I mean by that? Let me tell you. I was very comfortable in my own environment yet felt like something big was missing. Like a hole in my being. I knew I was missing something and could not at that point in my life figure out what it was.

     I decided then to star investing in myself. How? By reading books that taught me how to self- develop more and become more self aware. I started studying material with others in the same mind frame as I was. People that also wanted to tap into their endless potential. I became a master in my energy healing practices and learned more about human emotions and the human mind. I learned how to manage my daily activities, so my time is not wasted. I started to set goals for myself. I attended seminars and really paid attention to my life, my needs, my wants and my desires. 

     It took time, discipline and commitment to change my life and whom I was as an "unaware" woman to the woman I am today. I am proud of myself for having achieved all that I have achieved so far and I am not done yet. I continue to study, read and in contact with people in the same mind frame as I am. Pay attention I keep saying "same mind frame" or "like minded people" because this is so important when you want to improve yourself and go from living in your comfort zone bubble to living in freedom. 

     What I learned and continue to learn I share with you and my clients I am blessed with. That is why I put together my Health & Wisdom Program to help you! In this program you heal, you understand yourself, your feelings and your emotions, how these are affecting your life and physical body and much more. I took the key things that did it for me and in a simple 9 week program I am sharing all this with you and this knowledge will change your life as it changed mine.

     So the answer to my "daily happiness" is that I made a decision to change things for myself. I am now self aware. I am grateful everyday for the things I have and the positive people in my life, my mentors, my family, my friends. I have goals and use my time wisely. I am disciplined with my time and activities. I avoid what doesn't serve me and surround myself with what does.

The Power of Thoughts

Thoughts are powerful. Thoughts are ideas, opinions produced by thinking. Thoughts are the start of a want, a wish, a desire. You think of something you want and if you put emotion and effort into that thought you are sure to obtain that which you wish to have. No doubt.

See, your thoughts control your emotions and your emotions control your vibration. Think positive, feel positive, attract positive. No matter what always try to have positive thoughts.

Practice control over your thoughts. How do you do this? Every time you have a thought that puts you in a negative, upsetting vibration or makes you feel upset or sad or uncomfortable. Realizing the effect that thought has on you is the first step. All you do after realizing that this particular thought doesn't serve you is redirect or shift that thought right away to a positive.

Always be aware of your feelings and emotions. Be present within yourself. Very important to realize when your thoughts and emotions are changing and understanding the reasons why. Once you start doing this for yourself you will be able to avoid certain things or people that might be the cause for your negative feelings and emotions.
