REIKI= Love, Health, Balance, Happiness

When I decided to become a Reiki practitioner and teacher it was because Reiki truly changed my life. I felt  peace within, was able to let go of worry, became more connected with my higher self and gained a better understanding of my environment and the people in my life. I learned how to really listen not only to myself but also the people around me. I am now more patient, understanding, open-minded, relaxed, happy! etc.

I could go on and on about all the different ways Reiki has touched my life. Physically I feel great, never too tired I always have energy. Mentally I am better than ever.  If you are someone who is familiar with this Energy healing technique you will agree with me that it is indeed life-changing for the better! If you are new experiencing this practice or have never tried it before, I really encourage you to keep up with your sessions and to try it for the first time and give it a chance you will be glad that you did.

Whether you are a believer or not that Energy Healing works let me tell you that Reiki will give you its benefits regardless. How? you may ask... Well, Reiki is universal energy and we are ENERGY! Originated in  Japan centuries ago by Mikao Usui, a Japanese monk who based his healing techniques from various Asian healing practices. It is a fact  that disease is caused by imbalances and blockages of our vital energy centers or chakras and that correcting these imbalances promotes healing. As you know the body can heal itself. Reiki is one technique that Will do this for your body, mind and soul. It will promote healing from deep within.

For more information on Reiki and successful stories refer to my website, FB page  and blogs.

Energetic Anatomy ~ The Three Bodies..

Hello, I hope you all had a great week. Today I want to blog about Energetic Anatomy. I am reading a super interesting book and I will share some of what I am learning on this blog and pass it on to you. Anything I read and learn I will want you to know as well, I figure if it helps me then it will help you too. Here it goes.. What is Energetic Anatomy? It is your energy body, your aura. I will try to explain in a way that you will understand and not be like.... what??!! english please lol. So, we have three bodies, our physical body, our energy body and last but definitely  not least, our spiritual body. I will now break them down and tell you about each one in more depth.

Physical Body, this is the one you probably think of first, it is tangible, you can touch it and see it. The physical body can hear, see, touch, taste and move.  It wiggles and waggles, walks and run, jumps and reclines.  It allows us to feel emotions and to interact with a physical experience. When we don’t take care of our physical body everything suffers.  If we eat too much of a food that isn’t good for us, we feel bad. If we eat too little, we don’t have enough gas to get us through the day.  How we relate to our physical body is extremely important.  We need to exercise to keep it strong (which in turn gets the prana flowing and helps balance the mind), we must give it adequate rest, and we need to honor its role in our lives.  Try hating your body but having everything else go right for you….you can’t do it.  A positive relationship withstrong physical body is key to creating a whole and happy life.

Energy Body, which surrounds and extends beyond our physical body interacts with the environment and other peoples energy bodies. Some people are able to see this energy or aura in others. The seven chakras ( glad I blogged on the chakras lol ) have a direct relationship with our energy body and if one chakra is particularly activated the associated colour will dominate the aura. Most people are not able able to see the aura of others but I can assure you we can feel it! Peoples energy body reflects the persons mental and spiritual state. We sometimes call this " vibe" , we may say  I feel a good "vibe" from this person" therefore we want to be around them.. and when we feel a negative "vibe" we choose to stay away.  Our energy bodies can easily be affected by others energy bodies. It is important to keep in mind that we can avoid these situations/people that can drain us and we can clear ourselves regularly. An imbalance in the energy body often originates from spiritual problems. We can affect the state of our energy body with our thoughts and state of mind. Positive thoughts equal positive results!

Finally we have our Spiritual Body which surrounds both the physical and the energy body and is the master of both! It connects us to heavenly dimensions. All three bodies influence each other and determine our physical, mental and emotional health. In order for us to influence transformation of the body and mind we need to first learn to transform the energy flow.

I hope you have enjoyed this blog. Have a great Sunday! Stay tuned for my next blog soon.

Namaste,

Samantha

6th Chakra ~ Heaven's Palace

Hello!

Hope you had a great week. It's time for me to share with you all I know about this famous chakra most people refer to as "The Third Eye".  This is Heaven's Palace, the source of the rhythm of life. This is the chakra of spirituality, intuition, wisdom and insight. We call it the third eye because it is a part of us that can see on the spiritual level rather than on the physical plane. Through this chakra we can see beyond the physical world. If you had ever had an insight into a difficult problem or an intuitive feeling about something coming in the future, then you have experienced your 6th chakra.

When activated, it provides a " knowingness"  about realms of reality that are beyond comprehension of the rational mind. When this 6th chakra is open you may experience psychic and telepathic abilities. Another aspect of this chakra is the intellect which includes the imaginative and rational aspects of the mind.  Often our mind fails to understand things beyond the 5 senses of the body, with this effectively blocking one's natural intuitive abilities. Many people posses a highly activated but CLOSED sixth chakra.

One very important milestone for the sixth chakra is the perception on one's life purpose. You will know you have found this thing when you find the activity that makes you happy mentally, emotionally and spiritually! After you have found your life's purpose, you can form a specific vision to fulfill it.

Thank you for reading my blog! I love the feedback I get from you and how many people it reaches.

Namaste,

Samantha

5th Chakra~ The Soul's Gate

th.jpeg

Hello!

Today I am excited to talk about a very important and special 5th Chakra or energy centre called The Soul's Gate. Gate to which the soul travels, from the throat its azure light connects to the Jade Gate, our 1st Chakra, allowing advancement of the soul. This 5th Chakra, located in the throat  allows our expressive abilities. The quality of our speech, negative or positive indicates the state of this chakra. Everybody needs a voice, in relationships and in politics and internally as we develop our inner voice that guides us through life. Learning to develop, express and listen to this voice brings our 5th chakra to full expression. The voice allows us to express our divinity to the world, again, the negativity or positivity of our speech is a primary indicator of our spiritual health. When we express our desire and intention to make a difference in the world, we have made a huge step toward doing just that. It is also through our voice, through music, poetry and oration that we can touch the hearts of those around us.

When this chakra is blocked or undeveloped, the person may be shy and  unable to express themselves clearly. Often this is the result of self judgement or fear of judgement from others and unfortunately this lack of open communication results in more problems, leading to more judgement and guilt. When this chakra is overactive, the person may be loud, overly opinionated and crass in their speech.

Spiritual development begins with the development of the fifth chakra.

Before I sign off, I would like to say thank you to my readers for following my blogs and for your comments. I hear very positive feedback from you and it is appreciated.

Namaste,

Samantha

4th Chakra~ The Mind Palace

Hello and welcome back to my blog on Chakras.

Today I am going to tell you about our 4th Chakra called The Mind Palace, seat of the soul. Love and compassion residing within giving rise to honesty, diligence, responsibility coming together with dignity.

This is our heart chakra. The seat of our emotional mind, it is through this 4th chakra that we can experience some of the most joyous aspects of life. When fully open it sends out rays of loving energy that can touch anyone in our immediate environment.

The 3 previous chakras I talked about before, relate to the physical body, the 4th chakra takes us beyond the limits of our personal self, from here we can begin to reach out beyond the egoic mind to experience connection and oneness with others. Now, this can be difficult as we experience the hurts that are part of the process, but the rewards of doing so are great. Almost everyone will experience some sort of heart blockage at some point in their lives. It is the natural result of our individual needs coming into conflict with those of others. Life is a constant process of opening and reopening the heart chakra. This chakra is highly reactive, opening and closing according to our responses to the world around us. When we build up walls that keep our heart shut away and protected, we fall victim to sadness, loneliness and arrogance. The key to keeping the fourth chakra open is positivity. As you practice keeping your 4th chakra open, differences will disappear. You will then know the power of your own divinity.

I hope you enjoyed the blog, the information given and learning about an important energy centre in your body.

Namaste,

Samantha

3rd Chakra~ The Sun Lotus

Hello again! Welcome back to my blog. I am excited to introduce you to the 3rd chakra! This is one of my favourites and as you read along you will understand why. So, enjoy. A lotus flower in the solar plexus, loving, eating, drinking, working, living... this is the master of the desire for life! It shines brightly in you when you seek a beautiful life!

The energy from this chakra pushes us forward toward the fulfilment of of our dreams and goals. When this chakra is activated and healthy, we are then aware of our life's purpose and  are able to move in that direction. The third chakra is a vital governing force in your life. Your will is governed by this chakra, before you can do or make anything in the world you first must have the WILL to make it happen. The 3rd chakra is the motivator of the 6th chakra which is the seat of your intellect. Many people have a lot of great ideas and many dreams but because their 3rd chakra is blocked they have difficulty making their dreams, ideas  and goals into a reality in the physical world. This blockage results from unresolved issues regarding authority and empowerment. This chakra can also become overactive resulting in a highly aggressive approach to self creation and a lack of concern for the needs of others. Overwork and obsession with status and material success are also dysfunctioning of this chakra. The best way to ensure the health of the 3rd chakra is to develop a strong personal identity rooted in your higher self.

I can not stress enough the importance of having all our chakras well balanced! By reading my blog and having an understanding of what each chakra is and the impact that it has on your body, mind and soul, you will be able to detect the areas that you need help with the most. Which of your chakras are blocked, overactive or healthy. Reiki is a sure way to balance the chakras, clear blockages and much more.

Namaste!

Samantha

Chakras Continued..

The Jade Gate... Your first chakra!

The Jade Gate... Your first chakra!

Hello again! I want to start by saying how happy I am with all the wonderful feedback I am getting about this website, my blog and FB page. It means so much to me, so thank you.

Now back to Chakras.. Overall this system is related to our individual growth and development of consciousness. The lower chakras deal with issues of survival, sexuality and power and the upper chakras deal with issues of personal expression, insight and spiritual completion. Problems with the chakras come from problems of the body, mind and spirit. A change in the chakras means transformation of the truest sort.

I will start by introducing you to your 1st chakra, The Jade Gate. Red in colour. Instinctual drive for food, sex and survival. It is through this chakra that life begins. A person with a healthy 1st chakra has a natural love of life, and love of self. Good habits of self-care, cleanliness, good nutrition and exercise are motivated by a healthy 1st chakra. This chakra can inspire a sense of confidence and trust for any aspect in life. When this chakra is underdeveloped a person will show insecure disposition and nervousness, poor body image and engage in self destructive behaviours. Also, If this chakra becomes overactive the person will become greedy and show self obsessed behaviour, self destructing behaviour.

There is more but this sums it up pretty well. I can not stress enough the importance of having our chakras cleared and balanced. We are human and life is life with its ups and downs and we all need to clear ourselves, take time to give back to our body and mind. Meditation, yoga, Reiki, walks, relaxation and clear the mind. We all need this so lets do it!

Until next blog will be on our 2nd. Chakra. Please feel free to write your comments below and submit.

Namaste,

Samantha
